Your driver-guide will pick you up from your hotel in Kampala early in the morning for your drive to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. On your way to the park you will stop at Kayabwe, or the equator. Here you will be able to take pictures of yourself straddling the equator, do some small shopping, watch a water experiment done by locals, or just walk around the area. Along the way there will be one more stop for lunch before proceeding to the park. This park is home to half the world endangered mountain gorilla. Check in to your lodge and rest up for the coming adventure.-

Early this morning after breakfast you will head to the park headquarters with your rain jackets, cameras, water, and a packed lunch (provided). At the headquarters you will assemble for a briefing from the park rangers about your upcoming adventure. Depending on the movements of these humble giants your trekking may take up to a full day. While the landscape may be rough to travel, the rewards are grand. Your first view of the gorillas camouflaged in thick vegetation, will stay with you forever. As the day comes to an end you will be returned to your lodge for dinner and a night of rest.-

Today your driver-guide will transport you back to Kampala. Along the way you will stop for lunch in the bustling town of Mbarara and Buwama, the drum makers village in Mpigi. Later in the day you will be returned to your lodging in Kampala.-
