The 7 days Uganda-Rwanda Gorilla trekking offers opportunities of double gorilla trekking. The adventure can first be done at Bwindi impenetrable national park a home to half of mountain gorillas, from research the park has increased in number from 340-400 species. Bwindi forest has 8 families habituated for gorilla trekking, after visit the Rwanda a thousand hills with amazing gorillas in volcanoes which also has 8 gorilla groups for trekking.
Day1: Entebbe-Kampala
Upon your arrival at Entebbe airport, meet our guide and thereafter transfer to Kampala for your dinner and overnight at Cassia lodge/Madagascar Hotel. Meal plan: H/B
Day 2: Kampala-Bwindi National Park
Have break fast, from your hotel of residence and meet our guide and thereafter transfer to western Uganda via Masaka-Mbarara highway with stopover at the equator for photograph, snacks and lunch en-route. After lunch take scenic drive to the park for your dinner and overnight at Gorilla forest camp/Mahogany springs/Buhoma lodge/Buhoma camp. Meal plan: F/B
Day3: Gorilla Tracking
There is an early morning entry into the forest after breakfast and briefing on how to behave and handle these gentle giants. The rain forest offers spectacular, dramatic, heavily forested and dense landscape crisscrossed by numerous animal trails, allowing access for tourists. Given the fact that gorilla tracking is unpredictable, it is difficult to foresee how many hours you will actually hike. The escapade of tracking the gorillas in the superb ecosystem of the park will be passionate for the adventurers. It may take 2hrs up to 8 hours or more and you should be prepared to a walk long distance in steep and muddy conditions, sometimes with rain overhead, before you encounter any gorillas. “The excitement of seeing the gorillas makes it all worthwhile!” Return to lodge for Dinner and overnight-meal plan: F/B
Day 4: Kisoro-Rwanda
After breakfast fast, drive to Kisoro and cross border to Ruhengeri in Rwanda. Dinner and overnight at Mountain Gorilla Nest/Kinigi Guest House-Meal plan: F/B
Day 5: Gorilla Tracking Rwanda
After early morning breakfast and briefing from the authorities of the park. With packed lunch and water set off for the trekking into the rain tropical forest searching for the habituated Mountain gorilla family. You remain close to the beautiful primates for over one hour, for observation and photography. Return to lodge for dinner and overnight-meal plan: F/B
Day 7: Dian Fossey-Kigali
Morning breakfast and after visit the Dian Fossey to experience much more about digit that was initiated by this primatologist gorilla conservation. Lunch and after with leisurely drive proceed to Kigali for return flight back home. End of services
