The 12 days Uganda primate adventure takes you through the variety of beautiful sceneries, which is you will have a stopover at Ziwa for rhino tracking and shoe bill search, visit the top of the falls, the great mountain gorilla tracking is stunning, take village walk to amazing Batwa cultural performances, go for search of tree climbing lions at Ishasha southern sector, game drive, boat ride, Kyambura chimp trekking and then another chimp trek at Kibale forest national park and then visit Ngamba island chimpanzee sanctuary!

Day 1: Entebbe overnight

Upon your arrival at Entebbe international airport, you will be received by our guide or company representative. Depending on your arrival time, you will have Entebbe city tour to the Entebbe botanical gardens and Uganda wildlife education centre for birding and faunas and this possible if you arrive day time. Dinner and overnight at Entebbe Botanical Gardens/Imperial Resort Beach Hotel or Entebbe airport view guest house. Meal plan: Half-Board

Day2: Entebbe-Murchison Falls National Park

After an early morning breakfast, our guide will pick you from your hotel of residence. Thereafter drive to Murchison falls National Park-Uganda’s biggest Park.  Visit the Rhino sanctuary for lunch and after do Rhino tracking, shoe bill search while in the traditional canoe. Evening drive to the Top of the falls and at this point you will experience the supernatural formation of the falls. Dinner and overnight Parra lodge/Chobe lodge/Nile safari lodge or Sambiya River lodge/Fort Murchison lodge/ Murchison River lodge. Meal plan: Full-Board

Day 3: Game Drive & Boat ride

After an early breakfast take Ferry crossing, to the northern part of park for your prior dawn Game drive to spot the most likelihood big cats hunting, Elephants, Giraffes, Buffalos, Uganda Kobs, water bucks and bush bucks, warthogs among others. For birders this is a great stunning sight-seeing. Return to lodge for lunch and afternoon go for Boat ride to the base of fall where you get to see the Hippos, Grooming in there Pods, Nile crocodiles, elephants and a variety of beautiful bird species along the falls. Return to lodge for Dinner and overnight, Meal plan: Full-Board

Day 4: Murchison falls-Kibale National Park

Today we shall have morning breakfast, and after drive via  the escarpment area for amazing  view of the great rift valley, then to Hoima town for lunch at Kontiki Hotel, drive via Mabale and  Kagadi towns with great views the local community local set houses and other scenic. Dinner and overnight at Kyaninga lodge/Ndali lodge or Kibale safari lodge/Kibale primate lodge. Meal plan: Full-Board

Day 5: Kibale Chimp trekking & Bigodi walk

 Take breakfast from the lodge and later with the guide drive to Kanyanchu-this is the chimpanzee trekking starting point. The park ranger will brief you about the park and some chimpanzee trekking tips before you set off into the forest for Chimpanzee trekking experience in Kibale Forest. Kibale National Park is a habitat for more than 13 primate species, some of which include, the black & white colobus monkeys, red colobus monkeys, vervet monkeys, chimpanzees and many others. After return to lodge for your delicious African cuisine. Evening Bigodi Nature walk with lots of monkey, statungas and bird species.  Meal plan: Full-Board

Day 6: Kibale National Park-Queen Elizabeth National Park

Early morning breakfast and thereafter drive to Queen Elizabeth National park through the crater lakes and other scenic features with lunch en-route. As you enter take en-route game drive to spot some big five like the buffaloes, elephants and other species like the Kobs, water bucks and bush backs, warthogs among others. Evening take a boat ride on the Kazinga channel and while on this activity you will be able to spot the variety of water birds and animals along the banks of the channel. Still while on this boat ride you will have closer view of the aquatic species like the Crocodiles and Hippos. Dinner and overnight at Mweya safari lodge/Katara lodge/Enganzi. Meal plan: Full-Board

Day7: Game drive & Kyambura Gorge

Dawn Game drive to catch up with the early risers and predator returning to their conceal outs. This drive will reward you with game like Lions, elephants, buffaloes, hyenas, jackals, bush bucks, bush pigs, and many more. You will retire from the game drive for lunch at the lodge. Afternoon go for chimpanzee trekking in Kyambura Gorge. in this an underground forest look out for various primates most especially Chimpanzee of different species, Black and white Colobus monkeys and other animals like antelopes, hyenas, Lion and many others in the middle of savanna grassland. This gorge is a home of very many colorful bird species. Evening visit to Crater Lakes like Katwe Crater Lake to experience salt extraction and bird watching (flamingos) as the sun is setting off. Return to lodge for Dinner and overnight. Meal plan: Full-Board

Day 8: Ishasha sector-Bwindi Gorilla National Park

Early in the morning breakfast, after we depart for Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. Drive through the southern sector of Queen Elizabeth called Ishasha. Here we will take lunch at the Ishasha River camp, after search for the African rare tree-climbing lions before continuing on to Bwindi, home to the few remaining mountain gorillas. Bird life and primate life in Bwindi is quite fabulous, and there is an incredible variety of flora. Bwindi is the Bird watchers heaven! It holds 348 species of birds and supports 24 of 26 Albertine Rift Endemics that occur in Uganda; and seven red data book species. Dinner and overnight at Engagi safari lodge/Gorilla Resort/Buhoma rest camp. Meal plan: Full-Board

Day 9: Bwindi Gorilla Tracking

Have breakfast; go for briefing about do and don’ts about the mountain gorillas from the park officials, after set off for the tracking experience inside the heritage jungle. Carry with you enough packed lunch and drinking water, rain jacket, walkable boots, hut, insect repellent, Camera and any other gadget required for the activity. The rangers will provide you with a walking stick. Gorilla tracking is one of the unique activities you will enjoy while photographing and observing the gorillas. Spend an evening on village walk to experience typical amazing life for Ugandans around the park. Return to lodge for dinner and overnight. Meal plan: Full-Board

Day10: Bwindi-Kampala-Entebbe

Have breakfast, thereafter embark our safari vehicle and drive back to Kampala-Entebbe. Lunch en-route with second stop at the equator to shop souvenir’s to take home. Dinner and overnight at Entebbe airport view guest house. Meal plan: Half-Board

Day 11: Ngamba Island Chimpanzee Sanctuary

Have breakfast and after catch an early boat cruise to Ngamba Island at either 9h00 or 12h45. Enjoy your ride on the vast Lake Victoria waters, crossing the equator en-route. The trip is just 45mins and then you are at the sanctuary. The sanctuary is home to more than 30 orphaned chimps and those formerly captured from illegal poachers. Arrive in time to watch the feeding session at the sanctuary. The chimps will either clap or whistle as they draw the attention of both the visitors and wardens feeding them. You could also help in the feeding.
Return to the beach for yet another visit to the Uganda Wildlife Education Centre, also called Entebbe Zoo. Besides the caged animals like monkeys, lions, rhino, pythons, crocodiles and others, the zoo has rich forest vegetation and is often visited for supplies of traditional herbs. There is also variety of birds and butterflies in the forest. Dinner and overnight, Meal plan: F/B

Day12: Departure

Have breakfast, and if you have late departures, visit Entebbe’s attractions like the beaches, historical monuments and then stop by curio shops for needed souvenirs, memoirs and gift items to take home. Transfer to the airport for your flight back home. End of service.
