Day 1: Entebbe

Upon arrival at Entebbe international airport, our guide will welcome you thereafter transfer you to your hotel for refreshment. Evening take an excursion birding tour around Entebbe botanical gardens and Uganda wildlife education centre to spot variety of birds like the warblers, bee-eaters and much more. Dinner and overnight at Entebbe botanical gardens or Entebbe airport view guest house. Meal plan: Half-Board

Day 2: Mabamba bay-Murchison Falls

 

An early morning breakfast, after we drive to Mabamba Wetland, where we shall encounter Uganda’s most famous bird, the enormous rare Shoe bill. Lunch en-route and after transfer to Murchison Falls with stop at Ziwa Rhino sanctuary for rhino tracking and the search of more shoe bills while in the canoe. Dinner and overnight at Parra lodge/Chobe lodge/Nile safari lodge/Red Chilli Rest Camp. Meal plan: Full-Board

Day 3: Murchison Falls

Dawn game drive to spot the large animals of Africa and also for birding. Return to lodge for lunch and in the afternoon we make a boat trip on the Victoria Nile up to the bottom of the falls. The boat is an ideal platform to make photos of high resolution for photographic travelers/birders. Return to lodge for Dinner and overnight. Meal plan: F/B

 

Day 4: Murchison Falls-Hoima

 

Early morning breakfast and after take an amazing cruise on the Nile on a special boat trip to the delta the opportunity of viewing the shoebill in the wild high. Have lunch and transfer to Hoima Birding en-route. Dinner and overnight at Kontiki Hotel, Meal plan: F/B

 

Day 5: Hoima-Kibale Forest National Park

 

After Breakfast we drive to Kibale Forest. Make a walk through the forest in Chimps’ Nest to see birds and monkeys in the afternoon. Optional night walk through the forest to see the animals of the night, like bats, Bush babies and Galagos. Dinner and overnight at Ndali lodge/Kyaninga lodge/Kibale safari lodge/Kibale primate lodge/Chimp Nest. Day 6: Kibale Forest National Park

 

Have morning breakfast from the lodge and later with the guide drive to Kanyanchu-this is the chimpanzee trekking starting point. The park ranger will brief you about the park and some chimpanzee trekking tips before you set off into the forest for Chimpanzee trekking experience in Kibale Forest. Kibale National Park is a habitat for more than 13 primate species, some of which include, the black & white colobus monkeys, red colobus monkeys, vervet monkeys, chimpanzees and many others. After return to lodge for your delicious African cuisine. Evening Bigodi Nature walk with lots of monkey, statungas and bird species.  Meal plan: Full-Board

Day 7: Kibale Forest National Park

 

Early Morning have breakfast, thereafter go birding in Kibale and Sebitoli region. Lunch and after transfer to Semliki National Park the birders heaven. Visit the Sempaya Hot Springs and make a nature walk into the Ituri jungle as birding. Dinner and overnight at Vanilla Lodge, Meal plan: F/B

 

Day 8: Semliki National Park-Fort Portal

 

Have your early morning breakfast, after go birding through the national park and transfer to Semliki Wildlife Reserve in the afternoon. Lunch. Boat trip on Lake Albert and after transfer to Fort Portal for an overnight and dinner at Mountain of the moon hotel/Fort motel/Rwenzori View Guesthouse. Meal plan: F/B

 

Day 9: Fort Portal-Queen Elizabeth National Park

 

After breakfast, transfer with en-route scenic viewing to the Queen Elizabeth National Park. On our way we shah have en-route lunch. As we enter the park we shall have en-route game drive and birding. Afternoon birding at the Mweya Peninsular. Dinner and overnight at Katara lodge/ Bush Lodge/Enganzi lodge. Meal plan: F/B

 

Day 10: Queen Elizabeth National Park

 

Go for a prior to Dawn Game drive to catch up with the early risers and predator returning to their conceal outs. This drive will reward you with game like Lions, elephants, buffaloes, hyenas, jackals, bush bucks, bush pigs, and many more. You will retire from the game drive for lunch at the lodge. Then go for a boat trip on the Kazinga channel where you will view Hippos, buffaloes and water birds at a close range. Return to lodge for Dinner and overnight. Meal plan: Full-Board

Day 11: Queen Elizabeth-Bwindi Impenetrable

 

Have early breakfast, and then start again birding through the park, leading to Maramagambo Forest. Lunch and thereafter transfer via Ishasha southern sector of Queen where you will have to spare time to search for rare tree African climbing lions and a variety of savannah bird species will be spotted and after to Buhoma Bwindi, Birding near the lodge in the evening. Dinner and overnight at Engagi lodge/Kitandara camp/Buhoma Camp/Bwindi view inn

 

Day 12: Bwindi Gorilla tracking

Have breakfast; go for briefing about do and don’ts about the mountain gorillas from the park officials, after set off for the tracking experience inside the heritage jungle. Carry with you enough packed lunch and drinking water, rain jacket, walkable boots, hut, insect repellent, Camera and any other gadget required for the activity. The rangers will provide you with a walking stick. Gorilla tracking is one of the unique activities you will enjoy while photographing and observing the gorillas. Spend an evening on village walk to experience typical amazing life for Ugandans around the park. Return to lodge for dinner and overnight. Meal plan: Full-Board-you can also bird as you track the mountain gorillas

Day 13: Birding Ruhija

 

After breakfast we shall depart to Ruhija. This region is much known for the bird species offered like lots of Albertine endemics. Ruhija is next to the famous birding swamp in Bwindi which we shall trail too for spotting variety of birds. Dinner and overnight at Ruhija Gorilla Lodge/Gorilla in mist lodge. Meal Plan: F/B

 

Day 14: Mubwindi Swamp-Lake Bunyonyi

 

Visit the swamp for birding variety of Albertine endemic birds and after lunch transfer to Lake Bunyonyi, the deepest and most beautiful lake in Uganda. This lake has various stunning islands where you will spend your leisure time spotting for variety of birds. Dinner and overnight at Bunyonyi resort/Heritage lodge/Jajama lodge. Meal plan: F/B

 

Day 15: Lake Bunyonyi-Lake Mburo National Park

 

After your breakfast, jump into the traditional canoe and go for bird spotting from several islands of this lake, lunch and after transfer to Lake Mburo with en-route game drive and take  boat trip in the late afternoon and here opportunities for bird photography is high. Dinner and overnight at Mihingo lodge/Mantana Tented Camp/Mburo safari lodge. Meal plan: FB

 

Day 16: Lake Mburo-Entebbe

 

Early morning breakfast; go for foot safari as you bird in Lake Mburo National Park. Return to lodge for lunch and after transfer with stop at equator to shop art and crafts to Entebbe to catch your home flight. End of services
